Just reminding everybody that in a couple days it's "Dolphin Season"...
Every year 23,000 dolphins are killed in Japan, most of them in Taiji, a small fishing village on the coast where dolphins are herded and cruelly slaughtered/sold to aquariums. Most of the killing goes on in a small cove where the japanese government does amost anything to keep people from seeing what goes on in there. Literally any small cetacean is targeted...male, female, babies, pregnant females....bottlenose, spinner, common dolphins, false killer whales, etc. It aint purdy. Live dolphins sell for more than 150,000US$ each to aquariums and sea parks. But hey, all you pro-captivists out there probably dont care.
